Nuget package install timing out – why?

I have a package installation that is timing out. In an attempt to troubleshoot this, I have disabled NuGet logging, and have confirmed that there’s no errors in the ApplicationEvents log. How do I troubleshoot this or find out why it’s timing out?

I’m assuming this is a web client install in a web app; my guess is that you’re experiencing a timeout because you’ve hit the maximum execution time for the website.
You can see your max execution time from the properties page of the IIS site, set the value to something large.
Keep in mind that it’s possible to set the value in the applicationHost.config as well, if you want to make this the global setting for all of your apps.
