Kisii – Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has hailed President William Ruto’s leadership.

During an interdenominational prayer service at Nyanturago Stadium, Kisii County, on Sunday, August 20, the CS praised Ruto for having the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Machogu explained that he always finds it difficult to forgive, but Ruto encouraged him to work with everybody for the sake of unity and peace in the country.
He explained this has allowed him to work with his competitor in the 2022 General Election, Kisii governor Simba Arati, adding g that they’ve gone with him to the State House, unlike before.
“Ile yote imewekwa hapo; the fruits of joy, peace love humility forgiveness faithfulness nikaona yeye iko naye. Kwanza mimi saa ingine huwa roho ngumu kidogo kusamehea mtu lakini huyu rais wetu wa Kenya akasema wote ni watoto wa Kenya tukae pamoja. Tuwe na ushirikiano tufanye kazi pamoja kwa mapenzi. Tuwe na amani ndio maana ndugu yangu Simba Arati yuko hapa. Tumeenda na yeye ikulu. Mmejua vile alikuwa anasema awali, jameni si mungu ni mwema si sasa tuko pamoja,” he said.

What Ruto did for Fred Matiang’i
The CS further pointed out that Ruto came to former powerful CS Fred Matiang’i’s aid when he was under pressure.
Machogu claimed that Ruto told him he doesn’t harbour any resentment towards Matiang’i and even invited elders to discuss the issues.
“Mtoto wenu ambaye wakati nilienda kwa mheshimiwa rais nikamwambia huyu kijana ndiyo nguvu ikiingia kichwa saa zingine huleta maneno kijana wetu Fred Matiang’i. Akaniambia yeye hana maneno hata kidogo akaniambia ita hata wazee mwambie karibu tuko pamoja. Na mimi nikafuata hiyo akasema wote wafike tujenge Kenya pamoja,” he said.
